Norman is expected to be matched up in one-on-one coverage with Hilton, who has been targeted on average more than 10 1/2 times per game, including 15 times last week against the New Orleans Saints.
LUCK'S STRUGGLES: This season's most glaring problem in Indianapolis has been Luck's poor play. He has completed 56.2 percent of his passes, is tied for third in the league with nine interceptions,China Soccer Jerseys, and has the third-lowest passer rating among qualified quarterbacks —that despite missing two games with an injury. If the Colts want to get things turned around, they need a better Luck. But even Luck knows that will be a major challenge against one of the most formidable defenses in football.
It's hard to imagine Andrew Luck, even with as badly as he's struggling with turnovers, not throwing to his favorite receiver. Hilton ranks sixth in the NFL with 606 yards receiving on 37 receptions and three touchdowns.
CHANGE OF PACE: Indy heads to Carolina after back-to-back losses. It's only the third time in Pagano's 3½ seasons the Colts have lost consecutive games — and they've never lost three straight in his tenure. Keeping that streak intact won't be easy. The Colts are 17-17 outside the AFC South since Pagano took over, and they're 0-4 outside the division this season.

NEWTON ON THE RUN: Cam Newton needs one more rushing touchdown to move into a tie with Kordell Stewart for second place all-time for TDs by a quarterback with 38. Steve Young is the record holder with 43, a record Newton could break before the end of this season. Newton has four TDs rushing this season in six games. To put Newton's rushing numbers in perspective, only Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has more TDs rushing than Newton (50).
"I'd like to take that (challenge) on and see what it looks like," Norman said. "That challenge, I accept it."
Norman is a huge reason the Panthers are 6-0. He's tied for the league lead with which he returned for touchdowns. That led to him being chosen NFC defensive player of the month for September,Cheap Jerseys From China.
When the Colts gave up a first down on a fake field goal,Cheap Jerseys, New Orleans scored 20 points in four minutes. Against New England,Cheap Hockey Jerseys, there was the botched fake punt. At Houston, the Colts gave up a desperation touchdown pass at the end of the first half. And against Jacksonville, Pagano called a timeout just before kicker Jason Myers missed a 53-yard field goal. Fortunately, for the Colts, he missed the second attempt to force overtime. They can't afford more such mistakes.
STEWART ON THE RUN: Clearly the Panthers aren't missing DeAngelo Williams much. Jonathan Stewart is spearheading the Panthers No. 1-ranked rushing attack with 203 yards rushing and two touchdowns in his last two games. He's one of the toughest running backs to bring down on first contact. Williams, the team's all-time leading rusher last season,Wholesale NFL Jerseys, was released in the offseason in a salary cap move and has since signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
THE WRONG CALLS: Chuck Pagano is under fire because of Indy's underwhelming record. It's not just wins and losses. In each of the past four games, there have been questionable play calls on the field.
But the past two weeks his production has plummeted,NFL Jerseys Store.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman is getting a little bored with the lack of balls being thrown his way.
That happens when you earn the reputation as a shutdown cornerback with big-play potential. The last two weeks, Seattle's Russell Wilson and Philadelphia's Sam Bradford have pretty much ignored Norman's side of the field, throwing his way only a combined three times — two of those on screen passes.
It's also why Norman is excited that T.Y. Hilton and the Indianapolis Colts are coming to town Monday night.
"I can't reach my goal without being thrown to," Norman said. "I'm trying to be the best corner. I'm trying to be the defensive player of the year. Shoot, I'm trying to have the most interceptions. My goals are stupid high."

Wright hasn't thought about trying to avoid the worst record in the NFL. At this point,Wholesale China Jerseys, pride is on the line along with a chance at a second home win.
The Titans wrap up this ugly season Sunday hosting AFC South champ Indianapolis needing a win to snap the league's longest current skid of nine straight games. The Buccaneers host New Orleans. The Titans have the edge for the top draft pick overall, though they need several games to go their way to keep it unless they lose and Tampa Bay wins.
Whisenhunt gave the Titans the weekend off after their latest loss,Cheap NFL Jerseys China, 21-13 at Jacksonville last Thursday night. They returned Monday and will practice Tuesday and Wednesday with the morning off Thursday for Christmas.
This season has been bad, but tight end Delanie Walker said at least it has felt short compared to the 2012 season when he was with San Francisco and the 49ers reached the 2013 Super Bowl.
NASHVILLE,Wholesale Jerseys, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans find themselves keeping company with Tampa Bay for the NFL's worst record at 2-13 with one game remaining.

"We haven't won in a long period of time," Griffin said. "We haven't won in the month of November, and we haven't won in the month of December, so a win right now I think would make everybody feel a little bit better."
"Exactly," Titans defensive tackle Jurrell Casey said Monday. "That's the whole goal right now."
Wide receiver Kendall Wright said he isn't sure what practice will look like. The Titans have 15 players on injured reserve, jerseys from china, and Wright played himself last week with a broken bone in his right hand. Whisenhunt is hoping a couple of injured Titans such as left tackle Taylor Lewan and quarterback Zach Mettenberger might be able to practice some.
Safety Michael Griffin said they've already heard changes are coming, and nobody ever is really safe in the NFL — especially not on a team that hasn't had a winning record since 2011. So the Titans themselves are focusing on a win, something they haven't gotten since Sammie Hill blocked a field goal Oct. 12 against Jacksonville.
"It's already one of the bad records in the league, but I mean we just want to win," Wright said. "We just want to win, we're not worried about the record at this point."
None of the Titans care what draft pick the franchise might land. The players know this roster will be changing as first-year coach Ken Whisenhunt tries to fix a team already assured of its worst season since 1994 no matter what they do against the Colts (10-5).
"We got one last chance to do something," Walker said. "I think it's going to show a lot of what type of guys we got when we go out there and see how we play. I'm pretty sure the coaches and the personnel (staff) upstairs are looking to see who's still going to be here."

"It'll certainly be a good measuring stick because Cincinnati this year has been probably the best team in the AFC North," left tackle Joe Thomas said. "If we want to win the AFC North, we're going to have to beat Cincinnati, and this is our first opportunity."
Marty Schottenheimer's team pulled away to a 34-3 victory that day. Sam Wyche's Bengals couldn't get anything going — not even with Boomer Esiason throwing to Cris Collinsworth — as the Browns dominated.
The Bengals are trying to gain respect, too. The defending division champions have developed a reputation for playing well most of the time but falling apart in the biggest games. They've reached the playoffs each of the last three seasons and gone 0-3 in the postseason.
    Why the history lesson?
    What about stage fright?
LITTLE VS. BROWNS: Receiver Greg Little tore into the Browns during the week for releasing him last May after three inconsistent seasons. The Bengals signed him to shore up their depleted group of receivers, and he's caught four passes for 55 yards in three games. Little is eager to have a big game and show up his former team.
CINCINNATI (AP) — The Browns and Bengals were playing for first place late in the 1986 season. Bernie Kosar set the tone on the first play, throwing a long completion to Reggie Langhorne at Riverfront Stadium.
BROWNS ON THE RUN: Cleveland's running game hasn't gone anywhere lately. In the past three, the Browns have managed only 69, 39 and 50 yards while averaging 1.9 yards per carry. The Bengals are known for pressuring quarterbacks, so it'll be up to Cleveland's running game to keep them honest and keep Hoyer off the ground.
"If you're at this point in your career, you've played on multiple national-stage games," quarterback Brian Hoyer said. "Guys have been in Super Bowls,China Jerseys, playoff games. This isn't like the high school team playing on the weekly Friday night game on TV."
They get a chance to make a second impression Thursday night, this time at home.
"You love to have that type of atmosphere, especially at here at home in front of the whole nation,Cheap Jerseys For Sale," defensive tackle Domata Peko said. "It gives us an opportunity to bounce back from our slip-up we had against the Patriots. It's another prime-time game, and we'll be ready to go."
BENGALS BAD AT NIGHT, BROWNS BAD ON ROAD: Both teams are working against their history in this one. The Bengals are playing in prime time for the second time this season. That lopsided loss in New England left them 18-40 in prime time. The Browns haven't won an AFC North game on the road since Sept. 28,Wholesale Jerseys, 2008, dropping their last 17 away from home against division rivals.
"The crowd will go crazy," Still said. "They've been supporting her this whole time with her being all the way in Philadelphia, and I know with her being in Cincinnati and them having a chance to see her, cheap jerseys from china, it's going to get the crowd kind of hyped up."
The Bengals (5-2-1) are alone atop the AFC North, with everyone else right behind. The Browns (5-3) could move into a first-place tie with Pittsburgh (6-3) and show they're ready to be taken seriously as a contender Thursday night at Paul Brown Stadium.
STILL EMOTIONAL: Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still will have his 4-year-old daughter, Leah, watching him play for the first time. The girl is fighting cancer, but was well enough to fly from Philadelphia. The Bengals raised money for pediatric cancer research by donating money from his jersey sales to Children's Hospital in Cincinnati. They'll present a check for more than $1 million on the field, with Leah participating in an emotional moment.
GREEN VS. HADEN: The game reprises one of the best cornerback vs. receiver matchups in the NFL, Joe Haden against A.J. Green. The receiver managed only nine catches for 58 yards total in the two games last season. Green missed three games with an injured big right toe, but returned last Sunday and caught three passes for 44 yards and a touchdown during a 33-23 win over Jacksonville. The Bengals are hoping to increase his time on the field Thursday.
A victory would give the Browns a three-game winning streak,NFL Jerseys Supply, their best start since 1994, and a lot of credibility as an up-and-coming team.
They had their first chance to make an impression during a Sunday night game in New England on Oct,Wholesale Nike NFL Jerseys. 5 and got drubbed 43-17.
That's the last time Ohio's two NFL teams played with first place at stake so late in a season.

Initial reaction from most players was respectful,Authentic Jerseys Cheap, but the NFL again fumbled. The league responded to Borland's retirement by claiming, "By any measure,Cheap Jerseys From China, football has never been safer." It said the number of concussions was down 25 percent last season because of rule changes, safer tackling techniques, and medical protocols. In reality, the league has no proof of safety; researchers fear that the hundreds or thousands of subconcussive hits a player takes over his career may play a larger role in brain damage.
By all accounts,Cheap Jerseys Free Shipping, Chris Borland of the San Francisco 49ers was on the cusp of professional stardom. An All-American at Wisconsin, he was expected to be a starting linebacker for the 49ers next season, earning $2.9 million over his first four years. When he announced this week that he is retiring from football at the age of only 24, he stunned fans and followers of the game. But he should be commended for his reasons: He is troubled by evidence of brain damage from repetitive head trauma in the sport he loves. His move should prompt renewed debate about safety in the NFL, one of the nation's most visible and powerful brands.
Borland was just getting started. By being the most prominent healthy NFL player yet to place long-term health ahead of short-term lucrative stardom at one of the league's most storied franchises, he became an instant role model for youth and parents in a nation increasingly discomfited by football. To be sure, the chance for fame and fortune will still lure thousands of boys into the sport, and many will survive its brutality with their health intact. But Borland has established a new benchmark and has sent a welcome message that there is nothing wrong with stepping off the gridiron.
Borland told ESPN that he was haunted by a blow last summer in training camp. It felt like a concussion,Jerseys NFL China, but he kept playing, in an effort to make the team. "I just thought to myself, 'What am I doing,' " Borland said. "Is this how I'm going to live my adult life, banging my head, especially with what I've learned and knew about the dangers?"
The Boston Globe, March 20, 2015
Borland, a history major at Wisconsin, said he was moved to his decision by several other factors, including reading about the discovery of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in the brains of deceased stars such as Super Bowl champions Dave Duerson and Mike Webster and lesser-known players such as Ray Easterling. All went on to suffer from depression. Duerson and Easterling committed suicide, and Webster became homeless and died of a heart attack at 50.
There is increasing evidence that other players are thinking about getting out before it's too late. Last season, receiver Sidney Rice retired from the Seattle Seahawks after seven seasons and at least eight concussions. He is donating his brain to research. But he already had his Super Bowl ring,Cheap Adidas NHL Jerseys, and,Wholesale Jerseys, hopefully, money in the bank.

"A lot of people thought I was fat," a trimmer-looking Winston said. "But I'm here,Nike NBA Shop, I'm proving everybody wrong. I look good and I know it."
Winston is engaging and entertaining, too, as he proved at the podium.
"Every year there are,Anders Nilsson Jersey, two or three players who are found to have a condition they never knew existed and some have been life-threatening," said Hall of Fame general manager Bill Polian, now an analyst with ESPN. "My suspicion is it (Winston's test) is fairly normal,Cheap Hockey Jerseys, they usually are. The test is usually done as a precaution."
What the Buccaneers must determine is how the brash-talking Winston will react to the infusion of millions of dollars and the bright spotlight that comes with being an NFL quarterback.
But he wants to show teams that he can be more than just a reliable franchise quarterback. He's trying to show everyone he can be a star, on and off the field.
Winston made sure it was worth the wait.
"Of course I want to make a first impression because impressions last a long time," Winston said. "I'm a young man and I'm going to the next level to take a grown man's position. That's important to me. Football is my passion. I've been doing this since I was young, and I know the responsibilities that I have to take upon me when I'm going to be the face of someone's franchise."
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Jameis Winston responded to all the lingering questions with some bold answers.
"I had the MRI, just like everybody else. I've been playing football since I was 4 years old and the shoulder's been fine," Winston said. "I've got the same shoulder I done had the last two years at Florida State."
After strutting to the podium,Bryan Bickell Jersey, he flashed his big smile and started by acknowledging he'd made mistakes and intended to clean things up.
"He's a really good guy," Erving said. "Anybody who is around the guy at any point in time, you just know he loves to have fun. He loves doing what he does. A lot of people think he's a bad guy, he's a troubled character, but that's not an issue for him. He's a great guy."
Some have even questioned whether Winston is out of shape.
The biggest surprise came less than two hours after ESPN reported that doctors at the combine were conducting additional tests on Winston's throwing shoulder. He said he would throw during Saturday's workout, shrugging off any concerns.
Winston talked about visiting children in Tallahassee, Florida, and the influence of his 7-year-old brother, calling them his inspiration to escape the tinge of trouble. He explained how he planned to win Super Bowls like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, downplaying the battle with 2014 Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota to go No. 1 in April's draft.
Despite going 27-1 and winning a national championship at Florida State, his image was tainted by allegations of sexual assault, stealing food from a grocery store and a soda from a fast-food restaurant, carrying a pellet gun near campus, later firing it near his apartment, and jumping onto a table and shouting a vulgar phrase.
Now the league's decision-makers must determine whether they believe the charismatic Florida State quarterback can pull it off.
Winston even joked his baseball career — he played for the Seminoles — could have caused the injury.
His quarterback tutor, George Whitfield, called the report a surprise and said Winston had completed a 90-minute throwing session Tuesday at the University of Michigan without a problem. Tampa Bay, which has the No. 1 pick in April, was one of the teams seeking answers,Kevin Love Jersey, Whitfield said.
Those who know Winston, such as Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty and Seminoles center Cameron Erving,Kurt Warner Cardinals Throwback Jersey, believe Winston is misunderstood.
Even if Winston does get a clean bill of health, the other questions aren't likely to subside.
Two years ago, Utah defensive lineman Stat Lotulelei came to Indy projected as the No. 1 overall pick. That's when doctors found a potentially dangerous heart condition. In 2009, doctors diagnosed Texas Tech receiver Michael Crabtree with a stress fracture in his left foot.
His arrival had been one of the most anticipated events all week in Indianapolis, especially after the scheduled Thursday appearance was pushed to Friday because of a longer-than-expected medical exam.
"What I do tell them is, 'I have to earn your trust,'" Winston said. "I can't talk about situations or anything like that in the past but what I can do is prove to them and let you watch me grow into being the face of your franchise."
According to Winston, the character concerns that dogged him at Florida State are history. The comparisons to Johnny Manziel are irrelevant. The supposed throwing shoulder injury is a non-issue. And anyone who thinks the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner can't be successful in the NFL is sorely mistaken.
    Both were still first-round picks.

The Falcons continued to focus on defense after selecting Clemson defensive end Vic Beasley with the No. 8 overall pick in the first round on Thursday night,World Baseball Classic Jerseys 2017.

Coleman declared he intends to win the starting job.
Having to address drug tests made for an ominous start to Collins' NFL career. Collins said in the past he was "making bad decisions and not hanging with the right people."
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) — Atlanta Falcons second-round pick Jalen Collins said Friday night his positive drug tests are "all behind me."
Collins left LSU after his junior season. He started in only 10 of his 39 games with the Tigers, including seven starts in 2014 when he led the team with nine pass breakups. He had one interception.
Beasley was regarded as perhaps the most explosive edge rusher in the draft. He set a school record with 33 career sacks at Clemson.
Coleman (6-1, 210) could start for Atlanta as a rookie.
Coach Dan Quinn said the key was how Collins addressed the issue.
Quinn,World Baseball Classic Jerseys Outlet, the former Seattle defensive coordinator, is working to improve an Atlanta defense that was one of the worst in the league last season. The Falcons gave up the most total yards and passing yards and had only 22 sacks, the second-fewest in the league.
"When a guy has a setback, how do you recover from it," Quinn said. "Are you able to come back through the other way and do well? That was certainly the case with Jalen. All of us have setbacks. For a guy like him to come back and do well, it answered a lot of questions for me."
Coleman set Indiana's record with 2,Angel Di Maria Jersey,036 yards rushing in 2014. He couldn't run at the NFL combine due to a broken foot but ran the 40 in 4.39 seconds in his school's pro day.

"I've been making smarter decisions all this past year, trying to become a better person and a better football player and I think it's been helping me."

Collins said he is working out without restrictions and has no problems after a medical examination at the NFL combine found what he said was "a crack" in his left foot.
Atlanta returns 2014 rookie Devonta Freeman and Antone Smith at the position.
"When I started watching pro football, Michael Vick was one of my favorite players," Collins said. "After everything went down I just stuck with the team and I've been a Dirty Bird ever since."
Collins, who is from Olive Branch,World Cup Jerseys, Mississippi, said the Falcons have been his favorite team since the Michael Vick era.
Asked if his research revealed when Collins had his last failed test, Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said "I prefer not to talk about the specifics of that."
Earlier Friday, Atlanta waived safety Brandon Bishop, offensive lineman Reid Fragel, cornerback Jordan Mabin, linebacker Jacques Smith and running back Ronnie Wingo.
The cornerback out of LSU confirmed he had three positive drug tests while in college. Details of the tests, including the drug in question, have not been released.
Collins (6-2, 198) gives Quinn more size and depth at cornerback. The Falcons have starting cornerbacks Desmond Trufant and Robert Alford returning for 2015. Collins will be expected to compete for a spot in nickel formations.

Watt has been dominant through the first eight games. He's scored two defensive touchdowns, leads the league with 24 quarterback hits, has seven sacks and has swatted down seven passes. He also had a touchdown catch and joked that the best thing he did in the first half of the season was scoring more touchdowns than he ever has.
"There are so many things that I want to work on," he said. "It's all very little things, but you want to make sure you get those little things squared away because those are the differences between a missed sack and a sack, and a fumble and a forced fumble, a batted ball or not a batted ball."
Watt raved about Pickett, who will play his 200th career game on Sunday,Jerseys Soccer Authentic, and said he probably doesn't get enough praise for his work.
HOUSTON (AP) — J,Argentina World Cup T-Shirts.J. Watt's stellar work got the Houston Texans defense off to a good start.
"It's tremendous. That's our identity," he said. "That's something that we want to keep doing. We want to double that number from the first half."
Clowney had one tackle in limited action last week in his first game after sitting out six following arthroscopic knee surgery. Coach Bill O'Brien was encouraged by his performance on Sunday and said they'll ease him into more work in the upcoming weeks.
Never satisfied, Watt is looking to for more to help the defense improve.
"You have to give him credit because he's not going to get it on the tackle sheet. He's not going to get it from the traditional ways," Watt said. "Those guys do a thankless job. They go in there and they take on double teams and they take on those blocks inside, and they deserve the thanks."
The Texans had trouble stopping the run early this season and ranked 25th in that category after three games. They've turned things around since then and are 12th in run defense by giving up just more than 108 yards a game. A key to the improvement was the addition of nose tackle Ryan Pickett, who signed on Sept. 24.
The Texans (4-4) have been more focused on forcing turnovers this season after struggling to get takeaways in last year's terrible 2-14 season.
Watt has scored two touchdowns off turnovers this season and Houston's secondary has forced eight fumbles and has four interceptions. Safety D.J. Swearinger, the trash-talking, swagger-oozing heart of the group, puffs up his chest a bit when asked about Houston's success in forcing turnovers.
Now the defensive end has some help in getting after quarterbacks with the return of No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney.
"You want to get the ball back into the hands of your offense as quickly as possible or put the ball in the end zone yourself," Watt said. "We've been doing a good job of that. We need to continue to do a good job of that because that leads to points."
Watt was happy to have the 6-foot-5, 266-pound Clowney back on the field with him.
"He's played a big role,Cheap NHL Jerseys Authentic," O'Brien said. "He's done a good job of holding the point. He's a tough guy to move. He's a 340-pound guy. He's got good instincts,Brian Campbell Jersey, good hands."

"What we're doing at least in the grappling aspect of our sport is we're manipulating another man's body, putting it where we want it, whether that's putting it on the ground or moving it to the left or right or off-balance," said Matt "The Immortal" Brown, a 33-year-old welterweight UFC fighter from Columbus, Ohio. "So, to learn how to control another man's body is surely going to be an important skill for them. Anytime it's one on one, man against man, there's going to be some correlation."
DENVER (AP) — Denver defensive end DeMarcus Ware considers himself a mixed martial artist on the football field.
"It was all about the hands and how to get their hands off you," he said.
"If you do it so many times, eventually, you figure out the timing of when they're going to punch — because eventually they have to punch."
Ever since his rookie year in 2005,Authentic Atlanta Falcons Jersey, he's spent as much time in the offseason working on his handwork with a second generation Bruce Lee student as he has working out at a traditional gym.
Ware credits the moves he's learned and refined under the tutelage of Valentin Espiricueta, owner/operator of AppliedMMA in Dallas,Chandler Jones Jersey, for helping him amass 127 sacks over his decade in the NFL.
"Greg Ellis told me, 'You're not going to have this speed forever. But you can have the quickness.' So, one thing I learned when I did have a lot of ability, like Von Miller, was I would actually just beat guys from here," Ware said, tapping his right temple, "instead of beating them just with athleticism."
Packers pass rusher Datone Jones said MMA training helps his "hand-eye coordination, balance, body control and just being able to strike, being able to endure more." The ancillary benefit, he said, is greater flexibility, "so it's working on more areas so you get stronger, flexible, faster, looser."
Espiricueta,World Baseball Classic Jerseys, who studied under Bruce Lee student Dan Inosanto, has worked with numerous NFL players, but said Ware "took it to a different level."
A dip-and-rip or jab step just doesn't always do the trick anymore. But with martial arts techniques, "you figure out what's the best leverage point and he can be 350 pounds and it doesn't matter, you're going to beat him," Ware said.

"The tackles now, they're so big and they're pretty quick,http://www.soccerpro.us.com/AS-Roma-FC/," Ware said. "And they use their hands to set you up or they use their arms for leverage because usually their arms are longer than a pass rusher's. So, you have to figure out how to defend yourself from that, and with mixed martial arts, you sort of figure out how to set guys up and use certain moves so you dictate what they're going to do.
He developed a training program customized for football players in response to the league's rule change in 1978 that allowed offensive linemen to open their hands and leave their arms extended rather than use the hit-and-recoil techniques like boxers.
Ware is part of a growing number of NFL pass rushers who have adopted the grappling and striking techniques of MMA. It helps them outmaneuver the ever-expanding 330-pound tackles and get to the ever-quicker quarterbacks before they can throw the football.
"If I didn't learn martial arts, I'd be just a basic dip-and-rip guy just trying to go around the corner," Ware said.
"It's like a chess match. You've got to be patient," Ware said. "Because if you beat him just three times and have three sacks in that game, you had a monster game."
Sparring or grappling with technical fighters and their trainers teaches NFL players to swat away and otherwise avoid punches from O-linemen. It also aids their cardiovascular training, tenacity and acumen.
That rule change led to a transformation in the trenches as O-linemen ballooned past 280, 290 and then 300 pounds, overpowering defenders by sheer size. Nowadays,Nike Brooklyn Nets Authentic Jerseys, they're typically 330 pounds and outweigh most defensive ends by 75 pounds and linebackers by 100.
And when they do, that's when Ware will use his martial arts, maybe with something Espiricueta came up with called the "side scissor." The pass rusher uses both hands to swipe away the punch to his chest and throw the tackle off-balance.
Ware was introduced to the martial arts aspect of pass rushing by Greg Ellis, a defensive end in the NFL from 1998-2009. Ellis learned of Espiricueta's training methods from Randy White, who played for the Cowboys from 1975-88.
So defenders either have to be fast enough to get around them or quick enough to swat away their hands when they punch.
Espiricueta combined the Filipino martial art known as Kali with the Bruce Lee style of Kungfu known as Jeet Kune Do, or JKD. Practitioners of JKD believe in smooth, minimal movements and with maximum effects and extreme speed. It is referred to as "the art of fighting without fighting."
Instead, Espiricueta's star pupil and eight-time Pro Bowler uses swift swipes and whirlwind motions to set up and ultimately vanquish pass protectors. Like a fighter getting the best of his opponent in the octagon.
Vikings pass rusher Brian Robison said mastering MMA techniques and transferring them to the football field "allow you to rush the passer a little bit easier,NCAA Basketball Jerseys."

The bulk of the blame this time went to an offense that's struggled to resemble the record-breaking unit that piled up points last year, when Manning set NFL records with 55 TD passes and 5,447 yards passing.
Sure, there were plenty of positives to take from Denver's 26-20 overtime loss at Seattle on Sunday that was such a far cry from the shellacking the Broncos endured in the Super Bowl.
Emmanuel Sanders' career day,Cheap Arizona Diamondbacks Jerseys. Wes Welker's return. Peyton Manning's poise. Demaryius Thomas' toe tap. A swarming defense that played lights out before getting gassed in overtime.

"We evaluate everybody every day," Fox said. "So, those are all options at any position."
All those good things could prove ample tinder for another Super Bowl run, however.
And the Broncos are 2-1 heading into their bye week.
Although it comes early, the Broncos welcome the break because they have plenty of corrections to make and changes to ponder,Dale Hawerchuk Jersey, as the inconsistency and miscommunication in Seattle showed.
"As I told the team, it was good," Fox said. "But we're looking for great. And we're not there yet."
Asked about his offensive line, Fox didn't dismiss the possibility of changes.
"Do you mean is there a moral victory? The answer to that would be no," Fox said Monday. "But like all games, you have things you do well and things you don't do well. We call it the good, the bad and the ugly. We ended up on the short end."
"To me, 43-8 and 26-20 are the same thing," Knighton said. "It's still a loss."
Denver's ground game has struggled without Knowshon Moreno. Thomas had two more drops,J.R. Smith Jersey, giving him five so far. Montee Ball fumbled the ball away on his first carry and gained just 29 yards on his final 13 runs.
There was a notion this offseason that the Broncos made wholesale changes on defense but only tweaked their offense.
"You don't do that two years in a row," Fox said. "That formula doesn't necessarily work. So, we're not trying to mimic statistics. ... Everybody's looking at statistics. The only statistic that matters is winning."
C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman weren't any better, leading fans to clamor for changes to the O-line and for the Broncos to take the bubble wrap off rookie running back Juwan Thompson.
Notes: S David Bruton (sprained right ankle) is day-to-day. ... TE Virgil Green (concussion) won't practice this week. ... Fox chuckled when asked in jest if he'd consider sending Manning out to catch a pass the way Russell Wilson did Sunday. "You just never know," Fox said. "Big target."

"I mean, it's not a well-oiled machine," Fox said. "We've played three games. And one of those was against a pretty good defense in a pretty hostile environment, particularly on offense."
Knighton didn't take any solace in making a game of it this time, either.
"It's still early in a long season and we're going to get things going," Ball said. "Some people may disagree, but I believe we are tough. We do fight. I think we proved that yesterday.
Ball insisted Monday that Manning's not going to have to carry this team by himself again.
"There's five new starters," he said. "You've got Emmanuel Sanders, he's a new link. You've got Orlando Franklin at guard, you've got (right tackle) Chris Clark on a wholly different side. You've got (left tackle) Ryan Clady coming off of injury.

There are wide receivers Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, John Brown, Jarron Brown and Ted Ginn Jr. There are tight ends John Carlson and Rob Housler. And there are running backs Andre Ellington and Stepfan Taylor.
"We all care about our touches and our looks,Off White Nike Vapormax 2018, don't get me wrong," Fitzgerald said. "We just don't put our touches and our looks in front of what we're trying to accomplish as a team. I think there's a distinct difference. You're playing in the NFL, you've been the man your entire life, you wouldn't be here if you weren't, so you have to be able to put that aside and focus on what's best for your team, and I think everybody has a good grasp of that."
    Through six games, Fitzgerald has 23 catches — second to Ellington's 25 — for 283 yards — second to Floyd's 353.
And it's not that the receivers, all of them, don't want the ball more.
Carson Palmer doesn't have to force it into any particular receiver, just look around and find another one that's open.

Fitzgerald, in his 11th season, holds pretty much every Cardinals career receiving record. For years, he was the player the Cardinals had to get the ball to for any success. But when coach Bruce Arians arrived, he moved Fitzgerald from his wide receiver spot to the slot.
"We don't have anyone in the locker room that's demanding any more touches or anything like that," Carlson said. "I think that mentality is a testament, I believe, to Larry, because he's the veteran on this crew. He's been here for a long, long time. He's the superstar and he works as hard or harder than anyone.

NOTES: Panthers guard Andrew Norwell injured his leg in the first quarter and did not return to the game. ... Panthers center Ryan Kalil sat out with an ankle injury. ... Colts WR T.Y. Hilton was held to one reception for 15 yards,Cheap Nike Air Max 97 Shoes. He was targeted seven times.
It was a bizarre night, with two activists rappelling on ropes from the upper deck holding a protest sign for most of the second half as fans watched in awe. They finally descended, and the Panthers said four people were arrested by Charlotte Mecklenburg Police.
After Vinatieri gave the Colts a 26-23 lead in overtime, the Panthers had another chance to close it out but Ted Ginn Jr. dropped a 56-yard touchdown pass. Greg Olsen then bailed his teammate out with a one-handed catch to help set up Gano's tying field goal.
"I had the ball back a yard from where it was supposed to go," Gano said of the setup. "I looked up and saw (long snapper) J.J. (Jansen) waving at me as he was waiting to snap the ball. I thought, 'Oh,Nike Epic React Flyknit For Sale, we've got to scoot it up!' I looked up and the play clock was at 10."

He started to look like the Luck of old in the fourth quarter, throwing an 18-yard touchdown pass to Andre Johnson and an 8-yard TD strike to Fleener to bring the Colts to 23-20.
Luck, limited to 40 yards passing in the first three quarters, threw two touchdown passes in the final 7:11 of regulation and also led the Colts (3-5) to a tying field goal in the final seconds. The Panthers could have won it with 2 seconds left, but Kuechly dropped a potential interception in the end zone and Vinatieri kicked a 24-yarder for the third of his four field goals.
Gano answered that pressure on a rainy Monday night. He connected on two field goals in overtime, including a 52-yarder that lifted the undefeated Carolina Panthers to a 29-26 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
The Panthers didn't make it easy on themselves.
Carolina (7-0) earned its 11th consecutive regular-season win and opened a two-game lead over the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC South.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Cam Newton tries to distract Graham Gano in practice sometimes, walking over to the veteran kicker and whispering in his ear,Baker Mayfield Jersey, "Just a little bit of pressure."
Luck finished with 231 yards passing and two touchdowns with three interceptions, giving him an NFL-high 12 on the season.
Gano, who missed an extra point in the fourth quarter, came through when the Panthers needed him the most. After Adam Vinatieri kicked a 50-yard field goal for Indianapolis in OT, Gano was good from 42 yards and then again from 52 after Roman Harper deflected an Andrew Luck pass over the middle and Luke Kuechly came up with the interception.
"It just slipped through my hands," Kuechly said.
Playing in a steady rain,Air Max 90 Black And White Womens, the Panthers' defense put the clamps on Luck while jumping to a 10-0 lead.
"Never a doubt," Newton joked of Carolina's latest win, which came after they surrendered a 17-point lead in the fourth quarter. "We are one of the lucky few to say we're 7-0. We're not content."
    Gano made it anyway.
"It's my problem,Cheap Huarache Shoes For Women, and it's hurting the team," Luck said. "I've got to fix it. It's tough to win like that, and I'm disappointed in myself. Mentally, I feel all right. It's tough to overcome in the game. The points, the short field position, that's the important thing."
Newton threw an interception and also fumbled on the Colts 3-yard line, but rallied late in the third quarter. Leading 10-6, Newton threw touchdown passes to Greg Olsen and Philly Brown to give the Panthers a 23-6 lead.
Newton was 16 of 35 for 248 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. He also ran for 41 yards.
"It's a long season,Nike Air Max Shoes For Men, and our goals are still attainable," Luck said. "It doesn't make this loss any easier to swallow. We keep grinding, pick our heads up and get back to work. We've got to fix these things in practice, and fix these things in games."

The expected television revenue alone — not even taking into account revenue from tickets, luxury suites and in-arena advertising — pushes the value of the Clippers to the $1.2-$1.6 billion range,Discount NFL Jerseys, Vrooman said.
Teams are also rarely available, and there are lots of interested buyers, so the sales prices continue to rise. McCombs was on the front end of the trend when he sold the Vikings, a team he purchased for $220 million in 1998, for $640 million in 2005.
"You would almost have to be the dumbest kid in class if you didn't make money on professional sports teams today," said Red McCombs, who has owned the San Antonio Spurs and the Minnesota Vikings in the past.
But Ballmer had good reason to overpay, Vrooman said. The Clippers will soon be renegotiating their local television packages. Their current deal reportedly nets them about $20 million annually.
"About $1.6 billion of the price is sustainable investment and the extra $400 million may be what a billionaire owner with a Harvard degree in economics simply wants to pay for his NBA buzz," Vrooman said.
The offer, which comes after recorded racist comments made by owner Donald Sterling prompted the NBA to force a sale of the Clippers, is among the highest amounts ever paid for a pro sports team. It roughly ties the $2 billion paid for baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers in 2012 and exceeds the $1.47 billion paid for soccer's Manchester United in 2005.
A small time frame to negotiate, skyrocketing television rights fees that pushed professional sports franchise values through the roof,China NFL Jerseys, an owner-friendly collective bargaining agreement negotiated in 2011 and Ballmer's own desire to land the team after missing out in his bid to buy the Sacramento Kings last year collided to drive the Clippers price into the stratosphere, experts say.
But with a meeting scheduled for Tuesday in which the NBA was expected to vote to oust the Sterlings as owners of the Clippers, the window for negotiating a deal was closing quickly. That can often prompt prospective buyers to be more aggressive with their initial offers than they normally would be,Wholesale Jerseys USA, according to John Vrooman, profressor of sports economics at Vanderbilt.
A perfect storm may have inflated the price.
"The housing bubble was caused by too many houses being built whereas this bubble is caused by too few franchises being created here and abroad,NFL Jerseys China," Vrooman said.
Ballmer, who stepped down as CEO of Microsoft in February, may also view the purchase — which still has to be approved by the NBA's owners — as a way to cast himself as a savior swooping in to rescue the Clippers from Donald Sterling after the fallout from the racist comments.
The rising prices have led to concerns about a bubble in the pro market similar to the one that brought about the housing crash. Vrooman said the lack of inventory separates pro sports from real estate.
Ballmer may have overpaid for the Clippers through an economic theory called "the winner's curse," which states that the winning bid is always the highest bid and not necessarily the most accurate one.
"These buyers are perhaps irrational and exuberant but not altogether foolish," Vrooman said. "There is method to Ballmer's 'madness.'"
The extra $400 million added to Ballmer's bid is what Vrooman called the "blowaway factor" — additional money aimed at grabbing the seller's immediate attention and emphatically distancing his bid from others.

A high-profile NBA franchise in a major media market was suddenly available. A handful of power brokers from the technology,NFL Jerseys From China, entertainment and venture capital fields were lining up for a chance to join the party.
McCombs made his deal before the NFL owners won a labor battle to reduce the players' portion of the revenue split to 50 percent in 2011, an arrangement the NBA duplicated later that year. Reducing player salaries — the biggest recurring expense for an owner — provided cost certainty to prospective buyers.
"Add to that the fact that he is a serious basketball fan, and, again, you have a formula for a higher-than-usual bid," Leeds said. "Still, all this reasoning comes after the fact and does not significantly lessen my astonishment."
And all the while the clock was ticking on the bidding, with the league waiting and threatening to impose its will on the process if Donald and Shelly Sterling didn't unload the Los Angeles Clippers.
Owning a sports team has always been one of the ultimate status symbols, with billionaire playboys flexing their financial muscle to purchase the biggest, shiniest toys available. But in recent years, thanks to resounding victories by owners over players in collective bargaining negotiations, sports teams are getting closer to becoming fool-proof moneymakers as well.
The result,Cheap NFL Football Jerseys? A $2 billion record bid from former Microsoft executive Steve Ballmer that sent sticker shock through the worlds of sport and finance.
"Essentially, the commissioners and the owners have done a great job of pretty well identifying from the cost side what their total nut is going to be on salaries," McCombs said. "Through a lot of sweat and tears and lockouts, we have a fairly decent feeling as to what the cost to the players is going to be."
"I'm completely hornswaggled -- if that isn't a word, it should be -- by the going price," said Michael Leeds, professor of economics at Temple University. "It is almost unimaginable that the Clippers would go for about the same price as the Dodgers did just a year or so ago."
Thanks to the team's recent success, star power on the roster with Blake Griffin and Chris Paul and a voracious Los Angeles marketplace that could include bids from three networks, the revenue gained from a new contract will be much closer to the estimated $200 million that the Los Angeles Lakers earn annually as part of their deal with Time Warner, Vrooman said.
On top of that, the NBA will get a new national television contract in 2016 that figures to add another $50 million to each team's balance sheet.

It's a legacy that will carry on in the city Noll called home and within the walls of the franchise he defined.
Instead, Noll and Greene served as the core of a team that dominated the 1970s, winning four titles in a six-year span thanks to a seemingly never-ending stream of Hall of Famers guided by a man who made it his mission to ensure they learned more than just X's and O's.
They set it up in the spring of 1979. The speech wasn't until January 1980. Months passed. The season came and went, ending with the Steelers beating the Los Angeles Rams at the Rose Bowl to claim the team's fourth Vince Lombardi Trophy.
"Four championships, you've got to feel that," current Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey said. "We walk by those Super Bowl trophies every day here,NFL Jerseys China, and it all started with Coach Noll."
Greene, nicknamed "Mean Joe" for his menacing demeanor on the field, remembers destroying a door one day "when things weren't going my way."
"I've gotten more from Chuck off the field as much as I got on the field about how to do things the right way,Cheap NFL Jerseys," said Mularkey, now a tight ends coach with Tennessee. "Family was important. Balance in life was important."
It's why Mularkey made sure he had a chance to say goodbye, joining Steelers past and present,NBA Jerseys From China, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and several hundred friends and family on Tuesday for a funeral mass honoring Noll, who passed away last week at age 82.

"It meant Chuck was thinking of me," Greene said, "and that's special."
PITTSBURGH (AP) — The lessons Chuck Noll passed down to his players — maxims that often applied as much to life as to football — are tacked on the wall in Mike Mularkey's office,Jerseys China Wholesale.
"If he hadn't chosen me, maybe I wouldn't have been a Pittsburgh Steeler," Greene said. "Maybe I wouldn't have had the opportunity to be coached by Chuck Noll. And that probably would not have fared very well for me."
Steelers President Art Rooney II and Hall of Fame defensive tackle Joe Greene were among the pallbearers, a responsibility Greene wished he could have avoided but one he ultimately welcomed as a final gift from the coach who changed his life.
It's telling that while Hall of Famers like Greene, Blount, running back Franco Harris and wide receiver John Stallworth sat in the pews at the cathedral — just a few miles across town from where Noll worked at bygone Three Rivers Stadium — they were surrounded by longtime employees of the organization and friends from all walks of life.
Rather than let Greene off the hook or rip into the cornerstone of the "Steel Curtain" defense, Noll took a different approach.
Despite rising to the top of his profession,Wholesale Jerseys, Noll preferred not to bask in the limelight.
"Chuck came to the room and knocked on the door and said 'That'll be $500' and that was the end of the story," Greene said.
The men he molded embraced at Saint Paul Cathedral. They clutched programs featuring a picture of a vibrant Noll wearing a polo shirt, shorts and the closest he ever came to a smile while at work. Each vowed to carry on the lessons Noll imparted from his first day of coaching to his waning days.
Two days later back in Pittsburgh, Noll drove himself to the retreat where he found a stunned Zubik waiting for him. Noll delivered as promised, giving a rousing talk to a group of young players that included future Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino, then a local prep star.
It didn't matter that Noll might have been exhausted. It didn't matter that he had every right to cancel. That simply wasn't Noll's way. He made a promise. He had to keep it.
And that, as much as the record four Super Bowls Noll won while transforming the Steelers from an NFL afterthought into a dynasty during the 1970s is what will resonate for the city he championed and the team he built from scratch.
Bishop David Zubik, who performed Tuesday's ceremony, jerseys from china, was a young priest in the late 1970s when he somehow managed to get Noll to agree to give a speech on leadership to a group of high school athletes.
"That's the thing about coach Noll," Zubik said. "Everybody was important."
They say things like "stress is when you don't know what you're doing" and "I wasn't hired to motivate players, I was hired to coach motivated players." They ring as true now as they did when Mularkey heard them the first time playing tight end for the Pittsburgh Steelers' Hall of Fame coach 25 years ago.
Noll and Greene will be forever entwined in Steelers history. Noll was a rookie head coach in 1969 when he selected the massive but somewhat unknown Greene in the first round of the NFL draft. It was a pick met with skepticism but one that changed the course of the organization and Greene's life.

The Cowboys appear to have lost an option at middle linebacker in DeVonte Holloman, a second-year player who missed almost half of last season with a spinal problem and is out again with a neck injury.
A day earlier, Jones essentially sounded like the Cowboys had found their starting middle linebacker on the scrap heap in a trade that sent a sixth-round pick to Baltimore while the Cowboys also got a seventh-rounder.
Justin Durant is the swingman as the Cowboys search, playing his more natural spot on the weak side when McClain is on the field and mostly filling the middle when McClain isn't.
"He's big, he's fast, he's strong,China Jerseys Wholesale, he's physical, he's instinctive, he's a good tackler," Garrett said. "Having said that, he hasn't played football in a couple years. We're balancing those things and trying to create an environment for him to somehow, someway be his best and show us what he can do."
"I do think that we've got a chance to pull one out of our hat with McClain," Jones said of the linebacker Oakland gave up on three years after taking him with the eighth pick in 2010.
Durant says McClain "has been working real hard to get back."
The Cowboys, who visit Miami in their third preseason game Saturday night, haven't told McClain to go, as in leave,China NFL Jerseys, and don't look like they will anytime soon.
"It's our job to create competition in practice throughout these preseason games to make sure we have the best group out there and give them plenty of opportunities to show they're part of it," Garrett said. "And the other part of it is, too, you work the combinations."
Dallas sees McClain as the best fix for all the issues, which is why there's no rush to judge his commitment.
The next, McClain is sitting out practice again, raising more questions about the desire of a player who walked away from the sport twice in Baltimore before the Ravens traded him to a team desperate to replace Sean Lee after a season-ending knee injury.
Kyle Wilber starting on the strong side appears to be the one thing that's settled for Dallas at linebacker. If McClain doesn't become a regular, Bruce Carter will probably keep his job on the weak side while Durant plays the middle.

Carter's outlook could dim further if rookie fourth-round pick Anthony Hitchens shows any playmaking ability in the middle. The Cowboys drafted him higher than his projections as insurance for Lee, and already find themselves exploring that option.
Coach Jason Garrett said McClain had leg cramps at practice Tuesday, and that the team made the "right decision" to hold him out of practice Wednesday. He also missed time at training camp.
IRVING,Cheap Jerseys Online, Texas (AP) — One day Rolando McClain is getting first-team work with the Dallas defense after owner Jerry Jones offers yet another hopeful plug that the former top 10 pick can fill a big void at linebacker.
Carter underperformed last year when the Cowboys thought a switch to the 4-3 defense would turn him into a playmaking star. He thrived filling in for Lee before getting hurt late in 2012, but his name didn't come up when Jones seemed to be listing the probable starters on his radio show by mentioning McClain, Durant and Wilber.

"I just go out there and play," said Durant, who was the most logical replacement for Lee before McClain was added close to the start of training camp. "Wherever they tell me to go, I go."

Tamme,Cheap Jerseys From China, who has 178 career catches, is the most accomplished receiver of the three. Moeaki, who had two starts with Seattle last season,NFL Jerseys From China, has 88 career receptions but is better known for his blocking.
Tamme, 30, already has shown the ability to catch the ball in traffic in training camp.
ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta tight end Jacob Tamme was worried about playing with another quarterback after catching passes from Peyton Manning most of his career with Indianapolis and Denver.
"That hasn't changed from all the way from OTAs," said Falcons coach Dan Quinn. "He's had catches behind and down low. We're just trying to find ways to feature him. He's got a unique style of how to get open, where to go find it. I think there's a good rhythm with him with that."
Tamme's production could increase as the Falcons look for ways to keep defenses from focusing on star receivers Julio Jones and Roddy White,Wholesale Jerseys China.
Tamme (6-3, 230) set career highs with 67 catches for 631 yards and four touchdowns in 2010 with Indianapolis. He had 52 catches in 2012,Cheap NHL Jerseys, his first season with Denver,Discount NFL Jerseys, but had only a combined 34 the last two years.
Tamme may be the favorite to win the starting job in training camp over returning starter Levine Toilolo and Tony Moeaki.
"Matt has been awesome,Cheap Stitched Jerseys," Tamme said after Saturday's practice. "I love working with him. He's got a lot of similarities with Peyton — the way he leads, the way he approaches the quarterback position. I've got a lot of respect for that, so I'm really excited."
Toilolo had 31 catches for 238 yards and two touchdowns but he also had some drops in his first full season as Atlanta's starter. Like Moeaki, Toilolo was best known for his blocking when he was drafted by Atlanta, and it wasn't easy for the 2013 fourth-round draft pick from Stanford to follow standout Tony Gonzalez as the Falcons' starter.
Ryan is entering his eighth season as Atlanta's starter, and his status as a respected quarterback helped draw Tamme to Atlanta as a free agent. Another attraction was the chance to play in new offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan's system, which makes good use of tight ends.
"I feel ready to fill in a lot of different roles," he said. "As a tight end, you get to do a lot of different things in this offense. I love all the aspects of our position. I'm looking forward to being a versatile player for us."
After two days of his first training camp with the Falcons, Tamme said there has been no scary break-in period. He said Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has helped make for an easy transition.
"Peyton has been a huge part of my career, and he's a great friend of mine," Tamme said. "It's hard for me to go somewhere and feel like I was not falling off a cliff at the quarterback position. This is one of the few places where you could go and feel like you weren't."

O-linemen used to the spread offenses are getting crash courses in the pros, learning how to disguise run blocking and pass protections. They are learning both technique and technical nuances while devouring playbooks and adjusting to quicker, stronger, savvier defenders.

"Offensive linemen, they're always in a two-point, rarely are they in a three-point. Centers, oftentimes all they do is shotgun snap. We have to put them under center. But that's just what it is. If that's what the trend is,Wholesale Jerseys Free Shipping, that's what the trend is and we've got to just coach and teach more when they get here."
"And I'm not faulting anybody. They've got to do what they think they've got to do best to win, right?
"As soon as I got here, I put my hand back on the ground,Cheap NFL Jerseys Supply," Poutasi said. "I feel a lot more comfortable firing off the ball. I feel like me firing off the ball in a three-point stance is way better than firing off the ball in a two-point stance."
"You're getting a lot young offensive linemen out of college these days that have never been in a three-point stance, have never been in a huddle. They don't have a real good background in how to get (in) the stance and get out of a stance and pass protect let alone pick up stunts, blitzes, handle audibles," Gruden said.
Titans O-line coach Bob Bostad said the good thing is that the players who make it this far have what it takes.
"One of the biggest things at Toledo was we were hardly ever under center," he said.
"I don't know whether the cupboard is bare, they're all playing defense or what. It just seems like you get talented players, but you end up not having as many around that really know what they're doing," Denver offensive coordinator Rick Dennison said.
That would be rookie right tackle Jeremiah Poutasi, a third-round pick from Utah who went from a power, three-point stance as a freshman to a two-point stance his sophomore year.
"It's a very tough transition," Martin said. "In college, you may go against one good guy and then for a couple of weeks have, not an off game, not an off day,Stitched Jerseys, but someone who's not quite as good. In the pros, it's every single week,Swingman Nike NBA Jerseys, every single day."
"If you can tell that an offensive lineman is in a run stance or a pass because he's not savvy enough to know how to disguise it, you've got the edge on him," Smith said.
"We've got a guy here from a spread offense and I'm pretty impressed with him."
Ravens coach John Harbaugh, however, said Gruden has "a valid point. It's definitely something that we have to contend with all across the league."
Broncos defensive lineman Antonio Smith said that regardless of whether they come out of schools that run pro style or spread offenses, "usually rookie offensive linemen are easy to beat."
Add in the fewer padded practices, the pendulum swinging away from TD celebrations and toward sack dances and QBs end up with bruised bodies the color of last week's blood moon.
Pro Bowl guard Evan Mathis, who left behind an O-line in Philadelphia that's struggling without him for one in Denver that's struggling with him, gave an impassioned defense of rookie linemen, saying "some guys can learn that stuff in no time."
ESPN analyst Jon Gruden recently bemoaned how quarterbacks have been under siege. He said the passers are to blame for not directing protections properly or getting rid of the ball fast enough but that the baby-faced behemoths aren't keeping pass-rushers at bay, either.
"It's a whole new world. I think that's why you see a lot of teams running dive options with built-in bubble screens,Jerseys NFL China."
College football's spread offenses are producing wide receivers and quarterbacks ready to play as NFL rookies — and lots of linemen who need more prep for prime time.
"Obviously, they did very well wherever they were at or otherwise they wouldn't be here. They did whatever was told of them very, very well by their coaches," Bostad said.
"The thing that I notice different is if you do see a guy that comes from a particular school and they didn't run that particular scheme then they're a little bit behind. ... That's where they're playing catch-up. But you're going to be playing catch-up anyway — you're learning somebody else's scheme.
Vikings second-year center Zac Kerin had to adapt not only to the higher level of competition and playbook complexity but also the simple proximity of his quarterback.
Zack Martin,Wholesale Jerseys 2020, the first rookie All-Pro for Dallas since running back Calvin Hill in 1969, played in the spread offense at Notre Dame but said his biggest adjustment wasn't the style of play but the competition.

"There are some important things you need to do during the course of a game. But there still comes a time when a quarterback needs to make some good throws," Smith said.
"If you look at our offense, we have guys that can make plays," the 21-year-old said. "The quarterback just has to take care of the football."
Five games into his rookie season, the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner has already suffered three times as many losses as he did during his entire college career.
A week after being intercepted four times and losing a fumble, he rebounded to have his best game last Sunday, throwing for a modest 209 yards and one TD, while taking advantage of the Bucs rushing for a season-best 183 yards in a 38-31 victory over Jacksonville.
The young quarterback, who led Florida State to a national championship as a redshirt freshman two years ago, has completed 56.6 percent of his passes for 1,174 yards and seven touchdowns.
Winston attempted 19 passes against Jacksonville, wholesale nfl jerseys, completing 13. More than half the completions were to Martin and backup running back Charles Sims, mostly on checkdowns.
"I don't give myself a grade. My (goal) is to just get better every week," Winston said.
And while Winston understands the importance of ball security,Cheap Jerseys Wholesale, Smith and Koetter stress the rookie learns from mistakes and is not afraid to trust himself when defenses present opportunities to make plays.
"The object of the game is to win the game ... no matter how you do it," Koetter said.
Smith is confident that will happen.
That can be a lot easier said than done.
Both of Tampa Bay's victories have followed poor performances. He also played well enough to give the Bucs a shot at a third victory, but a rookie kicker who's since been released missed three field goals and an extra point during a 10-point loss.
"Any time you get a victory and don't turn the ball over, it's a big positive,Authentic Jerseys Wholesale," the rookie added. "But it's just one game. ... I still have to get better. We have to still get better as a team."

    Opponents are taking note.
"For us, it's about the turnover ratio each week,Cheap Adidas NHL Jerseys," the coach added. "And, as you look in the league — just not the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that's what it's about."
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Jameis Winston trusts the Tampa Bay Buccaneers know what's best for him. That includes being more of a game manager than freewheeling passer as he learns how to play quarterback in the NFL.
But with running back Doug Martin reverting to the form of his rookie season in 2012, and Winston's chemistry with receivers Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans improving weekly, there's plenty to be optimistic about, especially if Winston continues to progress.
Toss in the defense sacking Blake Bortles six sacks, forcing two turnovers and scoring a TD, too, and coach Lovie Smith couldn't have scripted things any better.
"We have a rookie quarterback and he's playing inconsistent. What's the next news flash we are going to send?" offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter said, describing Winston's ups and downs.
Nevertheless, the Bucs are encouraged by a 2-3 start —the team's best through five games since 2012 — and one of the reasons why is Winston's willingness to do whatever asked to help the team be successful.
"You watch his body language,NFL Cheap Jerseys, his posture, he's a confident young man,Cheap NFL Jerseys China," Carolina coach Ron Rivera said. "He looks like he has good control of what they are trying to do. You see him learning and growing each game."
The Bucs, 2-14 a year ago, drafted Winston No. 1 overall and handed him the starting job right away, knowing there would be growing pains.
Winston's thrown seven interceptions, tied with Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck for second in the league behind Matthew Stafford's eight. At the same time, resilience has been one of his strongest allies.
"As long as we're winning, it doesn't matter," Winston beamed. "My job is to play my role."
The offensive line has been better than anticipated after entering the season with three new starters, including rookie Donovan Smith and Ali Marpet. The defense is ranked sixth against the pass, eighth overall, although that's deceptive because Tampa Bay also has yielded the most points in the league.
Meanwhile, the Bucs ran the ball 40 times, with Martin and Sims teaming to gain 174 yards on 36 carries.

"This team is completely different than some of those teams in years past," he said. "We're much better up front.
